Well, if the problem is
connected to Brooklyn, you can call upon the Kings County
District Attorney’s Office, DA’s Action Center (“DAAC”).
“We are here to help,” says Director John Castelli. “We are
problem solvers. If we don’t have the answers, we know
where to find them.”
The DAAC has been helping the borough’s residents for more
than twenty years with a diverse array of problems. These
include such criminal justice concerns as fraud,
harassments, bad checks, drug infestation, child abuse,
landlord/tenant disputes, domestic violence and sexual
abuse. The DAAC meets with more than 100 visitors per month
in addition to fielding more than 1000 phone calls and
letters. |
